Rate: $60,000 -80,000 plus commissions

Job Description:

Due to the continued growth of our Retirement Plan Services team we are currently searching for a New Business Development Manager in our Minneapolis office. As a New Business Development Manager, through direct sales, you will be responsible for developing Retirement Plan new business with a primary focus of non-firm clients. We are one of the largest public accounting and advisory firm in the United States. With a staff of more than 1300, we provide a wide range of accounting, tax, assurance and consulting services to premier companies and leading institutions in industries that drive our economy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business for Retirement Plan Services
    • Create and execute a new business targeting businesses with 250 or less employees and retirement plan assets of $1 million to $20 million.
    • Build relationships with external prospects and centers of influence to maintain a new business pipeline & obtain new Firm clients.
    • Create and present new business proposals, draft RFP’s, analyze results, lead high-level meeting with prospects.
    • Develop a strong understanding of the Investment Advisory services and products offered by our firm.
  • Identify opportunities to cross sell retirement plan Third Party Administration services and individual management services
  • Maintain and expand knowledge base in Retirement Plan area
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of retirement plan services industry by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
    • Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate.

Qualificiations:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of proven - successful sales experience in the retirement plan market with a brokerage firm, insurance company, registered investment advisor or a bank.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting or related field.
  • Series 7, 63, 65 licensure.
  • Verifiable successful track record of business development.
