Our Search and Recruitment Process

Step 1: Defining the Specifications and Requirements

Detailed and candid discussions are held with client to gain a thorough understanding of company operations and objectives as well as the attributes, specific skills and personal characteristics of person they want to hire. These consultative discussions allow Pinnacle Search to identify what the cultural fit of potential candidate’s looks like, and the key required skills.

Pinnacle Search expertise and experience with similar assignments and industry knowledge is critical in helping to establish these position specifications and advising on existing market conditions.

Pinnacle Search develops a specification, clearly defining the responsibilities, overall scope of the position, specific duties and requisite personal attributes. Each specification is reviewed with the client to ensure a clear and complete understanding, and throughout the search Pinnacle Search maintains regular communication with the client.

Step 2: Candidate Sourcing and Client Confidentiality

With the position specification as the guide, Pinnacle Search constructs a unique recruiting strategy to identify a broad spectrum of potential candidates. These resources include use of advanced recruiting techniques, extensive research, use of our proprietary database, direct sourcing from a list of specific industries and referrals from our network of industry contacts across the country.

Initial contact with selected individuals is made in a confidential and direct manner. Preliminary assessment of qualifications and interest is made through discussions and correspondence. After reviewing background information on each possible candidate, Pinnacle Search conducts detailed interviews with the most promising candidates to further evaluate qualifications, compatibility and personality style with the organization’s culture.

Confidentiality is maintained to protect both candidate and client. Pinnacle Search reveals the client's identity to viable candidates only at the appropriate time. The client receives a comprehensive assessment for review and discussion. Only those candidates found to be both genuinely interested and highly qualified for the position are recommended for client interview.

Step 3: Verification, Selection and Follow-up

Throughout the search process, Pinnacle Search directs its efforts toward differentiating between the adequate individual and the candidate that best satisfies our client's requirement. Once the client has met and expressed an interest in an individual, Pinnacle Search conducts a thorough verification of background information, work history and verifications of credentials/qualifications. Confidential inquiries are made with former employers and associates and background checks are completed if requested by client company.

The selection of the final candidate rests with the client; however, Pinnacle Search will help negotiate terms and structure employment offers. Pinnacle Search assistance with final specifics promotes acceptance, avoids potential misunderstandings and facilitates an organized and successful transition into the new position. Pinnacle Search maintains contact with both the client and the successful candidate after the initial start date to ensure satisfaction on both sides.
